The main factors affecting feed safety include feed raw materials quality, feed raw materials storage, and the control of various additives ,the technology of processing, the reasonable design and parameters of the feed processing, the appropriate selection of the operation process,feed storage management,etc.Production safety feed is an important issue that is related to the sustainable development of feed production and human health.
1.Feed raw materials quality
Feed raw materials is the first control point for safety feed production. Some vegetable feed materials are used in large amounts of pesticide control due to pesticide, which resulting in the pesticide residue of cereal products, it should be strengthened detection of pesticide residues when receiving raw materials.In addition, wastewater emissions emissions from industrial production is also quite serious.
At present, the feed manufacturer is due to the limitations of testing equipment, and most of the pesticide residues and industrial pollution raw materials have not been detected. This is a major hidden danger of safety feed production. Feed mill factory should attract enough attention.
Some sellers chasing high profit of feed raw materials, the phenomenon of bag raw material is very serious, and the adulteration of feed raw materials is plagued to safe feed production.
Therefore, the feed mill factory should confirm whether or not to meet the quality standard when receiving the raw material, resolutely eliminate the unqualified raw materials into the factory.
2.Feed raw materials storage
Moisture of feed raw materials is the key specification for safety storage, especially for some new harvested raw materials, their moisture content can’t meet storage requirement.The original material is extremely susceptible to mold in the storage process,which can produce a large amount of mold toxin.Therefore, it is necessary to improve the storage conditions of the raw material and the moisture of feed raw material should be 12% or less, and the contamination of molds may be reduced as much as possible, which is the most effective and active method.
Most of the feed raw materials are corn,which stored in a tuber or steel warehouse.Due to the large difference between day and night temperature , which is easier to cause water evaporation and water vapor to store raw materials, so that some of the raw materials close to the wall which content higher moosture,it will occur mildew in raw maetrials. Therefore, the management of raw materials in the tubular warehouse should be strengthened, and the moisture of the raw material should be reduced to keep the safety storage of raw materials.
3.Feed raw materials handling
In feed processing, people often pay attention to the cleanling of large impurities and magnetic impurities in feed materials,it’s to ensure the safety of animal feed production line.But ignore the cleaning of small and medium impurities in feed materials. These small impurity components are complex, and are all kinds of harmful microorganisms. When moisture and temperature in are suitable for growth, the nutrients of raw materials are their medium, so that they grow a large number of harmful substances. Therefore, the small impurities should be cleared in the feed production to facilitate the safety of the feed to ensure product quality.
